Custom earmolds
Park Place Hearing Center fits custom earmolds to be worn in the bowl of the ear at the top of the ear canal. These earmolds can be made up of a solid material or a soft and spongy material. Earmolds are available in full-shell or half-shell models. Full-shell models offer greater protection. Some models include an attenuator to allow normal noise levels to be heard (such as conversation) while blocking decibels at damaging levels.
Custom earplugs
Custom earplugs are worn completely in the canal. They are made from a mold of your ear canal, so they fit more comfortably and provide a greater level of protection than off-the-shelf earplugs. Some models are fitted with small handles or cords that make inserting and removing the earplugs easy. Custom earplugs aren’t just for protection from noise. They also provide protection from water and wind and create a quiet sleeping environment.
Musicians’ earplugs
