Jane is a small-town farm girl from Iowa, who married her 7th grade sweetheart 43 years ago. Inspired by a childhood friend who was deaf, Jane studied Communication Disorders at Iowa State University then on to the University of Northern Iowa for Postgraduate and Doctoral work in Audiology.
“Doc Jane” as patients call her, has been helping the hard of hearing since 1986 and specializes in the latest AI hearing aid technology. Her positive energy and compassion for her job does not go unnoticed.
She and her husband travel the country in their 5th wheel and two little golden doodles seeing patients at special events. Weekends are spent soaking in hot springs, hiking, biking and spending time with family and friends.

We will visually examine your ears and test your hearing to determine the type of hearing loss you have. Your results will be illustrated in an audiogram that we will explain thoroughly.
2. Lifestyle Discussion
We will ask you about the types of places and listening environments you frequent most often to determine the range of sound settings and technological features appropriate for your lifestyle.
3. Hearing Aid Options
We will show you the different hearing aids that are designed for your level of hearing loss as well as your preferences for size, color, and invisibility.
4. Budget Discussion
We have hearing solutions for every lifestyle and budget. We will check into the insurance and financing options available to you. Many insurances now provide coverage for hearing aids. Some even cover 100% of the total cost!
