Rexton Hearing Aids
Rexton hearing aids are built upon a firm foundation of hearing instrument innovation. Werner von Siemens built a telephone receiver, which included a horseshoe magnet in order to amplify and improve voice signal quality in 1878, and the company he founded (Siemens) later released the first industrially-produced hearing instrument in 1913.
In addition to Siemens, the roots of Rexton hearing aids include Widex, which was responsible for producing the first digitally-programmable hearing aid in 1988 as well as synchronized left/right hearing aids and the world’s smallest receiver-in-canal (RIC) device in 2008.
A 2019 merger of Sivanto (formerly Siemens) with Widex created the WS Audiology Group. Several brands emerged from the merger, including Rexton. This manufacturer recognizes that reliability means designing and building instruments that are practical, easy to use, and dependable in real life settings.
